A long time ago I built a can crusher capacitor bank. I wanted to build an other one but scale it down for battery tab welding. Then I saw thes $10 boards and figured I’d give it a try… First thing was to beef up the bus bars on the mosfets. Then strap it right to the battery…
It works ok but no where near what I want. It did get the job done on a battery pack I was rebuilding. The welding probes did get a bit warm. I may upgrade the cables and tips next.
It worked but I need to build something better……
