{"id":1300,"date":"2015-07-09T04:08:43","date_gmt":"2015-07-08T14:08:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/commons.pratt.edu\/open-source\/?p=774"},"modified":"2015-07-09T04:08:43","modified_gmt":"2015-07-08T14:08:43","slug":"android-arduino-oven-thermometer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kornequipped.com\/blog\/?p=1300","title":{"rendered":"Android Arduino Oven Thermometer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Here&#8217;s the demo for the MIT App Inventor Oven thermometer I made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;ll need some flavor of Adruino, a Bluetooth SPP module, a max6675 thermocouple amplifier and a thermocouple to actually make the demo work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/es.pratt.edu\/Commons\/Images\/android\/oven-thermometer\/oven-thermometer.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I like these small 328 based boards and since they don&#8217;t have USB hardware it&#8217;s really easy to connect up the Bluetooth module. The ribbon cable is going over to a USB-ISP programmer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/es.pratt.edu\/Commons\/Images\/android\/oven-thermometer\/Photo%20on%207-8-15%20at%204.11%20AM.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The code updates every 400 ms but it could go a lot faster.
