{"id":115,"date":"2014-01-18T03:49:59","date_gmt":"2014-01-18T07:49:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kornequipped.com\/blog\/?p=115"},"modified":"2014-01-18T03:49:59","modified_gmt":"2014-01-18T07:49:59","slug":"wifi-biquad-antennas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kornequipped.com\/blog\/?p=115","title":{"rendered":"Wifi BiQuad Antennas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I needed some simple wifi antennas so I made some using 12 gauge copper wire and SO-239 couplers<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kornequipped.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/20140118-023441-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" alt=\"20140118-023441.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kornequipped.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/20140118-023441-1.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Start by hollowing out the coupler<\/p>\n<p>There is a small ridge the keeps the insulator at the end of the pin<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kornequipped.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/20140118-023601-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" alt=\"20140118-023601.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kornequipped.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/20140118-023601-1.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The easiest way to remove it is to chuck it in a drill and file it off<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kornequipped.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/20140118-023714-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" alt=\"20140118-023714.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kornequipped.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/20140118-023714-1.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Them you can cut the edge of the outer casing into a small tab.
